    Keep Playing the Game

"The design was inspired by one of our own who is walking through this journey right now!

We are inspired by all the individuals who recognized symptoms, sought answers, and were brave enough to take action.

To the individuals who received a breast cancer diagnosis they never wanted, one that made their world feel like it was headed for the gutter.

To the individuals receiving treatment who are constantly adjusting, moving left or right to make it through each day.

To the individuals who face curveballs throughout their journey and find the strength to adjust once again.

To the individuals who feel like one day they are wobbling and struggling to stand tall, and the next day are crushing it, knocking down every obstacle in their path.

To the individuals who are close to seeing that perfect score and are excited to have this game come to a close with a win.

To the individuals in any stage of this journey: don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game!

To you all... we see you. We are cheering for you!"

  • Beauty and the Beast

Don't Let the Beast Define Your Beauty

“Inspired by Beauty and the Beast, this bra celebrates the idea that true beauty comes from within and that strength, resilience, and courage are life's greatest treasures. Much like the story's message that love and self-worth are not defined by outward appearance, this design honors the inner beauty that shines through adversity. For those navigating breast cancer, it reflects a journey of transformation, where challenges become part of a deeper, more authentic self. It is a tribute to both the struggle and the strength that emerge along the way."

    Strength in the Storm

“When a storm approaches, a herd of buffalo doesn’t run away from it, it runs toward it. By charging into the storm together, the herd moves through it faster and stronger.

The herd reminds us that we don’t have to face life’s storms alone. We can face them together.

Cherry Optical Lab is proud to be part of your herd, helping weather the storm of breast cancer and reconstruction.

True to who we are, we’ve crafted our bra using lens cloths as the sky, nose pads as the rain, and tinted lenses as the clouds. We’ve also used real, ethically sourced buffalo fur to make the rolling fields and, according to Indigenous tradition, these hides carry profound symbolic healing properties. Together, these unique materials create a herd built to weather the storm."

  • Eden Healing Oasis

    Rooted & Rising

“Every healing journey begins below the surface — in the quiet, unseen work of taking root before anything visible begins to grow. This piece was created in honor of that process: the roots that hold us steady through the hardest seasons, the slow, often invisible growth that takes time and patience, and the blooms that finally emerge — not in spite of what came before, but stronger because of it.

Healing isn't linear. It moves in cycles of rest and growth, setback and bloom. This piece honors every stage of that journey — rooted, resilient, and always reaching toward the light."

    Flowers for Strength

“Flowers are a hallmark symbol of strength, resilience, new beginnings, and femininity. When creating this piece, I knew I wanted flowers to be at the forefront of the design. I have known many women throughout my life who have been impacted by breast cancer. Their strength, determination, and resilience embody the definition of womanhood. They were the inspiration for this bra."

“This bra is a celebration of resilience, courage, and the extraordinary strength of those affected by breast cancer. Each element represents the beauty that can emerge through even the most challenging seasons, honoring the strength found within every individual and community touched by breast cancer.

The tropical-inspired design serves as a reminder that strength can flourish in unexpected places. The seashells, starfish, and pearls represent a strong and determined spirit, symbolizing the courage and inner strength required to endure life's pressures. The bright tropical flowers embody resilience and perseverance, flourishing with beauty even in demanding environments. The tropical leaves symbolize tranquility, triumph, and the ability to rise above adversity. Together, these elements create a meaningful tribute to the strength, resilience, and hope found throughout the breast cancer journey, honoring those who face it with courage and celebrating every step toward healing and renewal."

    From Flames to Flowers

“When an emergency happens, we send all our resources to the problem. Sometimes the solution is also destructive in its own way. The emergency has passed, but we are left with the aftermath and the cleanup. When there is a fire, we extinguish the flames with large amounts of water that cause their own damage; when cancer is found, it is removed or bombarded with radiation or chemicals that cause their own damage.

There is a quiet at the end of all the destruction, when we are left staring at all we've lost and also how far we've come. Then we make the choice to continue, to grow, to keep moving... to Flourish Forward."

“No One Walks Alone: The Power of Togetherness and Hakuna Ma-tatas

Facing life's biggest health challenges can feel overwhelming, but there is incredible strength in the community we build around each other. The phrase "Hakuna Ma-tatas" brings a beautiful blend of lighthearted resilience and hopeful energy to breast awareness. It reminds us that while the journey requires vigilance, we can face it with courage, a touch of humor, and a shared commitment to look out for one another.

True togetherness means creating a safe space where we remind our friends, sisters, mothers, and loved ones to practice regular breast awareness. By knowing our bodies and encouraging those around us to do the same, we transform fear into proactive care. When we stand together, share our stories, and support early detection, we lift the burden of worry. Together, we move forward with strength, unity, and a collective promise that no one has to navigate this path by themselves.

    Together, we are stronger!”

    A New Chapter

“Every story has the power to shape us, and sometimes, the words we find on a page help us find strength for the next chapter. "A New Chapter" is a reminder that there's something so powerful about holding a story in your hands.

We transformed books into a bra with carefully selected passages highlighted throughout. Each connects to the themes of healing, finding strength and the beauty of writing a new chapter.

Just as every story has a beginning, middle and end, our lives are made up of chapters. Some are difficult. Some change us. And some give us the opportunity to begin again.

The use of physical pages is also intentional. At a time when AI and technology seem to dominate, we wanted to celebrate something tangible and unmistakably human. There is still a place for physical media. There is value in turning the page and connecting with something you feel.

As a Human-First Agency, we believe the best communication starts with people. A New Chapter reflects that belief by taking something familiar and human, like stories, and giving it a new purpose.

No matter how our world changes, there will always be a place for the human story."

“The Tooth Fairy has breasts and wants breast cancer diagnosed quickly.
She has no time for chemo or for being sickly.

  • POP of Color - Green Bay Balloons

    Balloon Woven Hope

“Two of my very dear friends have battled and beaten breast cancer. Watching women I care about go through something so difficult gave me a small glimpse into their struggles, and I honestly couldn't imagine facing it myself. Their paths afterward were different: one chose reconstructive surgery, while the other chose not to.

I created this bra in honor of them and the other women in my life affected by breast cancer. As a balloon artist, I wanted to use the art I know and love. This was my first time weaving a garment from twisting balloons, and it pushed me outside my comfort zone. I struggled, started over from scratch midway through, and almost gave up. But I kept going, and it turned out better than I originally imagined.

While creating a balloon bra certainly can't compare to battling cancer, the process made me reflect on perseverance and finding hope when things feel impossible.

The weaving represents strength, while the flowers represent hope, new beginnings, and brighter days ahead. Balloon Woven Hope honors the women I love, their individual choices, and their incredible strength."

    The BRA-CKET List

"A bucket list encourages people to explore the world, chase an adrenaline rush, or accomplish amazing feats.

But a bucket list shaped by cancer has a different set of priorities.

Days for someone with cancer are filled with doctor appointments, treatments, surgeries, medical bills, and uncertainty about the future. Time no longer feels the same. The small things they once took for granted are now the things they’d give anything to experience:

    Celebrating another birthday.
    Slow family mornings.
    Genuine happiness and laughter.
    Watching their kids grow up.

“THE BRA-CKET LIST” was created by the Remember to Live Foundation, which gives moms fighting breast cancer and their families an unforgettable vacation to achieve what every bucket list ultimately seeks: cherished memories.

As you look at this bra, every detail on the left represents a dream or adventure, while the right side is filled with ordinary moments that become extraordinary when you realize how precious time is.

    Which side resonates with you?

Add something from your bucket list to the display. It could be a big dream or the simplest of moments.

Then look at everyone else’s items and be inspired to take action on yours.

Life is precious. Remember to live it!"

    Strut for Strength

"“Strut for Strength” was created to represent beauty, confidence, resilience, and the courage to keep moving forward. Inspired by the vibrant colors and unmistakable beauty of the peacock, this piece features more than 5,000 individually hand-laid rhinestones, carefully arranged in an ombré pattern from black into brilliant shades of teal and blue.

Authentic peacock feathers cascade across the design, creating a dramatic train and transforming the bra into a wearable piece of art. A jeweled peacock rests at the shoulder as the finishing detail.

Each rhinestone was placed by hand, one at a time, a process that took many hours, patience, and a whole lot of sparkle. The design is a celebration of strength and individuality and a reminder to stand tall, show your colors, and never be afraid to strut for strength."

    Reconstruction is Like Spring Flowers

    “Survive. Rebuild. Restore. Choose.

Because breast cancer may change a woman’s body, but it should never take away her right to choose what comes next.

The vibrant pink flowers symbolize the courage of women who have faced breast cancer and undergone a mastectomy. Peace by Piece: The many colors of love, loss, healing, support, resilience and transformation

“Just weeks before my Stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis, I lost my mom, a breast cancer survivor herself, to Alzheimer's after being her caregiver for years. The most difficult part of my journey has been not having my mom by my side.

We were very close, and some of our most special moments together in her final years were the trips we took to Dollywood. My mom loved Dolly Parton and was often compared to her because of her looks, larger-than-life smile, and infectious laughter.

In the week following my double mastectomy and Goldilocks reconstruction surgery, I noticed the many colors of bruising and chuckled to myself, saying, "I have boobs of many colors that my surgeons made for me."

As I was signing up to decorate a bra that same week, it became immediately obvious what my inspiration would be. Many of the fabric pieces came from my mom's shirts, and the Dolly earrings are ones she purchased on one of our trips.

The sunshine centerpiece and the many colors throughout the design represent my commitment to fighting cancer with sunshine, rainbows, and all things beautiful. The title reflects the peace I've found in the pieces of this journey."

    I've Got Your Six

“When a woman joins the military, she signs a contract and takes an oath to protect our country to her last breath. During service, every soldier around her is her sister or brother. These battle buddies have her back. We say, “Got your six.”

No one mentions that women who have served have a 25% higher risk of breast cancer than civilians. It is difficult to get proper breast care while on duty. It is challenging to get it after service.

I, Michelle De Jesus, was one of those 25%. No genetic markers. Just exposure to constant stress and many chemicals.

When I was diagnosed with Stage 3B triple-negative breast cancer in 2024, my sisters had my six. They brought meals, comfort items, and visits. Distant sisters called, texted, emailed, and sent cards of encouragement. Everyone prayed. The Wellness Command Post checked in with me to see how I was doing.

This bra represents my military service and that of thousands of women veterans. Now I remind women veterans to check their ta-tas and tell them how to get care through the VA. Our oath has no expiration date. We will always have each other’s six."

What's your story? We're here to help!

“My inspiration came from the deep empathy I have for all cancer patients. I have many close friends and family members who have shared their breast cancer stories with me. I listen and offer all of my support.

My design came to life as I thought about all of the additional support our community offers to breast cancer patients. There are organizations that provide medical, emotional, financial, and family support. I chose to display real stories that people have shared. They shared their diagnosis, journey, support system, and prognosis. I felt it was important to highlight the many ways breast cancer patients can find extra support within our community. I pinned those resources directly next to each patient's story. Our wonderful community has more support resources than I could ever display here."

Breaking Bra. It Started With A Sparkle

“The Twilight reference in this bra represents humor. Because my cancer looked like "glittering sparkles" on the mammogram, my mind found humor in the fact that my boobs "sparkled like a Twilight vampire."

The rounded top is a nod to the religious and spiritual deep dive that came from, and continues to be, a daily contemplation since my diagnosis.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show reference reflects how I feel physically since the mastectomy. Losing a part of my body has made me feel more like a circus sideshow character than myself. Learning to be comfortable in my own body again feels like accepting this... ick-ish, Halloween-ish physique.

With the beadwork, I stitched in beads shaped like what my cancer looked like on the mammogram.

The aurora theme brings to light another realization. My cancer diagnosis brought to the forefront of my mind how small and insignificant I am, but also how wondrous it is to be part of this large and beautiful world and universe. Inside my insignificant physical body is stardust. I am just a tiny part of everything, and everything is part of me. While losing my sense of individuality, I feel myself becoming more a part of that "other.""

“I've watched family and friends go through some of their darkest moments when they received the news. The news that there are options. The news nobody wants to hear.

People want to crawl into the dark because sometimes it's easier to hide there than to face the horrors happening right in front of them.
